I too have purchased a buddy belt for my baby! it is okay to walk them with the collar as well as the buddy belt as long as the leash is not attached to the collar. As was suggested to me, a breakaway collar is probably best if you aren't home or something in case she gets stuck into something she won't choke. I plan on taking Miley's collar off of her when we are in the house though.
