I'm not saying this out of meanness, I'm just speaking the truth. If I tried to breed dogs, I would be up the creek without a paddle. I can research all that I want to, but actually doing it is a completely different story. This is why I got Nilla under a pet contract -- I knew all I needed and wanted was a pet. I am realistic.

In fact, if we look at this technically, Lulu is a teapot (so is my Nilla), so they're not meant to be bred to meet the standard (no offense to the teapots out there -- I obviously love you all!). The standard is a maximum of 7 lbs, and I know Nilla is over that, and I believe Lulu is 15. I'm breeding illiterate, and I at least know that much. Please, please, please give up this notion. Just because you have two purebred dogs that mate and have puppies doesn't make you a real breeder. I just foresee this ending badly ... It makes me feel kind of sick in the pit of my stomach, really.
