I brush Mojo wet and/or dry....it just depends. By wet, I don't mean drenched..just lighted mist with a mix of conditioner and water...that seems to help with tangles. I had a groomer (when I had a Shih-tzu) tell me to buy some sort of conditioner for humans from the store (Wal-Mart, etc) and mix with water...it was a conditioner in a little packet (like a sample size). I can't remember what it was, but it worked good then.
