I am convinced it happens. Have seen it happen first hand when I was 13. When my grandfather was in the hospital dying he promised on his way home when he got discharged he would stop by and see our new house that he had not seen yet. That evening after he died, our Lhasa Opso was laying in the living room and all of a sudden his head popped up and he was acting like he was watching someone or some thing walk in the front door, through the living room and into to the dining room. As soon as what ever/ who ever was out of sight he laid his head back down and let out a sigh.

To this day I am convinced it was my grandfather walking around the house looking at it like he promised.
