Hi and welcome. Not sure but are you making sure he is eating throughout the day? I have heard on here if pups don't eat every few hours their stomachs can get irritated and fill with stomach acid and result in nausea and vomiting.
Clear or froth can mean its empty...others on here can give you more advice..
