The clips are easier to put in, but I definitely think bands are safer and the bow stays nicer with bands. I worry about a clip falling out and a little one chewing on the bow. It can't happen with a band that's put in properly and there's no metal without a clip. I hope you don't mind that I keep linking Susan's BowBiz site. I know you need a bow to take Miley home in, and you need it soon. I don't have any 3/8" bows, but a I have some nice 5/8" bows. If you PM me your address, I'll givre you one of my bows for your beautiful Miley.
