I was a little concerned about introducing Tia to the house. I think we were realistic in our expectations and prepared Sandy as best we could. She got (still gets, actually) a lot of extra attention and I don't think Tia has ever made her feel threatened. We were pleasantly surprised with how quickly and well Sandy adjusted to having Tia around -- AND she is SO much more active now that she has a playmate. We don't have to convince her to run around, she does it on her own!
