Wink I share your pain!

Nilla is the same way -- cotton coat and all! When she came to me, her ears fell (I guess from the stress of a new home). I tried to tape them once, it was horrifying for me, so I said if it didn't work that time that she would just have floppy ears. So she has floppy ears. She looks, I think, super cute anyway, but I have the same problem with everyone and their grandma thinking she's a Shih-Tzu. No one wants to hear the Biewer explanation either -- I sometimes wish I had business cards with a Biewer description on them. xDDD

... but anyway. My groomers (I've tried three) have never shaved her ears down. They just trim around them, leaving them a uniform length. I don't think that they shave 1/3 of the way down though ... She has always had a fair amount of hair on her head and neck -- I did recently ask for it to be trimmed a little shorter in these areas due to a nasty tick season. I attached a picture of her with her Christmas toys. xD New computer -- it's one of the only ones that I have transferred from my cell.
