The thread title scared me! I was thinking you meant cut droopy ears to make them stand. My DD is getting a Great Dane and they "crop" their ears to make them stand, where they actually cut out a "v" shape of their ear flesh. I'm hoping she choses not to do this...
You mean shave/trim the ear hair to lessen weight & make them stand? I trim the top half of ZoE's ears, just for looks & appearance. Her ears went up naturally at around 8-9 weeks. How old is your pup? I've heard there is only a certain timeframe where the ear cartilage is still susceptible to being trained to stand up.
