My rule has always been no dogs or children in my yard while I'm mowing or weedwacking. It's been my rule for so long, that is just done without question. My Mom comes over to my house sometimes while I'm at work and does a bit of yard work. She'll pull weeds in my flower beds, and from between my stone edgers, and from between my patio stones. She usually takes ZoE outside to hang out with her while she's going this. But is she mows or weedwacks, ZoE gets put inside, and looks out the window watching.

I just saw my neighbor two doors down mowing & his dog is out running aroung his riding mower...it's scaring the heck out of me.

So, what do you do while your mowing?
