Getting a cat as well Hi all, I'm back again.
Molly my beautiful rescue Yorkie has lived with us for almost a year now and it seems like she has been part of the family forever. However, my daughter, who is an adult by the way wants a cat!!!
I don't think a kitten would be a good idea but I am considering an adult rescue cat. As far as I know Molly was the only pet when she was rescued but I'm not sure. On the few occasions she has been to my brothers house she didn't seem to mind their two cats, in fact she snugged up with one of them later on in the day. I think she was more bothered that his male yorkie, Ashley, kept trying to mate her (will males never learn?) and in the end she bit his bum (serves him right) and he left her alone.
My problem is I don't want Molly to think she's being pushed out as she is very spoilt, sleeps on the bed, sofa etc and I don't want her to harm a rescue cat that has probably had a rough time. All help and suggestions please would be really appreicated. Thanks |
