UPDATE:
Appt went well, the vet recommended surgery this month. He is still on pain killers and supplements for now until his surgery. We have another appt on the 6th and thats when the surgery will be scheduled. thanks everyone for the advice and prayers for my little Taka.
I will definitely be needing advice after the surgery is complete on how to handle the recovery process. I've never had to do this, the only kind of surgery I know of is spay/neuter. If anyone can recommend anything, I will take all the help possible
