Yup, lamb has the highest fat...but CC Lamb & Pearl Millet has 16% crude fat, same as venison & I feed mine that & they're doing fine on it. So it might be ok, it really depends on the dog. It would be great if you can try a sample, but I don't think CC gives out samples.
I'm not sure if dogs w/IBS can have grain inclusive food? I thought grain free was best for IBS/ Colitis dogs? So not to put any strain on their sensitive digestive system. Since you're going w/ CC, Open Sky (grain free duck) is great. Mine was on that 1st when we tried CC & they did wonderful on it, no itchies & their poopies were compact & firm, then we moved onto venison for rotation.
