I have a 2-YR old Yorkie MALE who, over the past 2 days, has been vomiting. I had not seen any food in the vomit, it appears to be a yellow bile, but when I gave him a few treats yesterday morning, I came home at lunch to find he had thrown all of it up and he doesn't appear to be eating his food. He does not seem lethargic or have a lack of energy. I have taken him to the vet, who feels that a X-ray wasn't necessary, as I've had past issues with Max swallowing foreign objects causing a need for an EMERGENCY surgery, and they gave him a shot for nausea and various medicine for me to give him at home. The vet felt as though he, clinically, seemed fine and feels its a gastrointestinal issue.
So my question is how many of you have experienced gastrointestinal issues with your Yorkie and have you discovered any solutions besides bringing them to the vet every time??
