Not quite sure about prices but a breeder I know of in Bellmore, highly recommends the Bellmore Veterinary Hospital on Bedford Ave. They've been available on-call for various situations in the middle of the night for her and have gone above and beyond.
Also, East Bay Vet in Merrick, NY. A friend of my family has a chocolate lab undergoing chemo there, from Seaford and they travel just to go to East Bay. The place is really compliant, attentive, & understanding with their situation and the health of their pup.
