I Googled right away when he started to do it. He's never had sugar issues and I figured at almost 6 months age, chances were it was not what it was. From what I read it is common for dogs to shiver if they are hurting. Shivering during the first 24 hours post op, if not combined with other concerning symptoms were not much cause of alarm.

I gave the neutracal as a precaution.

I'm sure Jasper will do fine when the time comes for him. I was so worried, but Bentley did great. When I was paying for his surgery after the fact even the receptionist said he did great and that he was highly entertained by all the other dogs going in and out of the back area.
