Huey is a digger, too. He loves to dig in the corner of the sofa and eventually tuck his toy or bone or toothbrush behind the cushion. The cushions are attached, so it doesn't go far, but the he will put a pillow or blanket over it so it can't be readily seen. He really goes to town digging in the bed under the covers until it is just right for sleeping. I have lost 2 fitted sheets this way. Nothing like waking up with your leg stuck through a hole in the fitted sheet...I think because they were bred as ratters, digging was bred into them as part of that. |
