Words fail me regarding this mean and uncaring greedier....and we now know that is what she is. Offering you a half price pup??? How dare she?? Any pup you get from her means heartbreak and bankruptcy! The least you are due is a refund of the purchase price. You have ample vet evidence for that.
I know you feel very exhausted with the whole thing and depressed about the possible bad outcome for Joey. But he is a fighter and he is still alive. She must get him to a vet or she can be accused of effectively killing the pup by negligence and animal cruelty. Do not give up on coercing her to get to the vet now. I would be blunt with her and tell her that if he dies it is her fault and hers alone. Surely she feels some compassion for the innocent commodities called pups that she is marketing?? Does she know that her business could be wrecked if all this got out?? My would I like to give her a piece of my mind!
Tired as you are, do not give up. If she gets away with this she will never change, so you are saving others from your horrible experience. So for
Joey's sake keep fighting as this is a war you can and will win.
