 How to stop the barking?
Spikey is 7 months old now. When we first got him at 9 weeks in July, he never barked at strangers when we took him for walks. We took him everywhere when he was a puppy. Then during the winter months (starting around end Oct), we did not take him out for walks because of the cold weather. Now, the weather is getting warmer and we're starting to take him out more often. We found out he has start learning to bark at almost everyone who will walk past him or anyone who comes at our door. He did stop when we ask him to stop barking but it is very embarrassing to have him bark at every single person that walk past us. I know the reason he barks is due to insecurity because when we hold him in our arms, he'll not bark. He only bark when we put him on the ground. How can you assure to your yorkie that they're safe and you will be there to protect him if anybody tries to harm him/her? |
