We've had lots of great experiences at dog parks, most owners are responsible and dogs are well behaved. It is a shame that one person can ruin it for the rest of us.Destiny was just there because she threw a fit that I wasn't taking her. She was in my arms the entire time except when it was just her and a golden retriever puppy in there. When it happened she was in my arms and I pushed her onto the bench beside me so I could grab the other dog. I didn't dare trust her on the ground with big dogs around and I think that was the chi owner's biggest mistake thinking their little ones could be safe running around with unknown dogs 5x bigger than them.

I don't know if we will ever go back but Destiny will never go there again, even being in my arms is too much of a risk and I shouldn't have let her guilt me into in the first place.
Yes and there seems like there is always one around! YOU need to have the bites seen if they broke the skin...you at least need a tetanus shot if you havent had one in the last 5 years....I would report the dog to Animal Control....I am just thankful he didnt get your little dog.....that could have been a horrifying site....
