Jada was a real life hero. I have a deep love for heroes. I've always loved Superman - even have an S emblem tattoo. But, I also have a Jada tattoo - because she is the real hero. (I will soon be getting another special one - like the one she had). Anyway, there are many real life heroes in this world: firefighters, military men and women, policeman, first responders, doctors, nurses...

There is no greater hero who utters the words: "I pray for lungs, but if my donor is not saved, I would rather not have them." She said this and meant it because she is the ultimate hero - one that surpasses Earthly heroics. She always thought of the Eternal Life. She knew she was saved and would go to be with Jesus if those lungs didn't come. She didn't want her donor to lose his/her life on earth if they weren't saved, because they were not ready to die - they would not go to Heaven.

Ann - you are a special soul. Thank you so very very much for coming to Jada's funeral and celebration of her life today. Words cannot even express how much that meant to me. Thank you to Heather, Vivian, Ann, and Morgan for the flowers that you sent. I heard my sister and mom reading the cards on all the flowers yesterday and I overheard this, "I'm not sure who these are from. The names sound familiar but I am not sure what YT means."

Then..I heard them start saying those names. I whipped my head around and said, "What?!" I looked at the card and told them who they were from and I just totally LOST IT! I wasn't crying until then, ladies - thanks a lot. Love you!

Okay, I was only going to say a few words and now I am bawling again so I will make myself stop. I made the following smilebox last night because I couldn't sleep and I needed to do my own special thing for Jada. Note: Celine Dion's niece also died of Cystic Fibrosis. Celine wrote this song in the smilebox for her niece. I thank her so that I can now use it to honor MY niece.

Oh my goodness! It was such a long day yesterday. Please forgive me, but I left out a name that was on the card for the flowers. Lori! Thank you too, sweetie!
