The reason is simple SHE doesn't want to, she wants to dance and does so 4 days a week I support her decision 100% and will not force her to sign up for something that she doesn't want to do or have any interest in just for the sake of participating in as much as possible.

Thanks! I totally agree with you! I could never force them into doing anything they didn't want to do. He really loves karate and recently we were going to sign him up for tee-ball and I asked him if he wanted to do it and he said no. That was the end of it!
I asked my daugter if she wanted to do karate or dance and she said no she wanted to play soccer. So she'll play in the spring. I can't stand those parents who force their kids into sports or after school activities. I actually see it in karate school that some kids really don't want to be there but their parents are making them. I have no idea why. I would think they would get resentful.
