Hello,
I got a 8 week old female yorkie puppy her name is Bella. She has been with me for about a week now. I took her to the vet the day after I got her to only find out she has a severe heart murmur. The vet rated her as a 5/6 or 6/6 heart murmur
. My heart was broken when I found out as I was so attached to her already at this point. I can't imagine giving her back. I called the lady back to tell her that her vet records did not state that the puppy has a heart murmur and I am NOT sure how that was missed by her vet. She told me she'll take her back no questions asked. However, I can't imagine taking her back. She's my little baby now and I want to do everything I can. I am getting her ultrasound done in 3 days. However, the vet said she may even be too young for surgery at this point nor do I know if I would be able to afford surgery. I am wondering if anyone has dealt with a puppy with such severe heart murmur and what the outcome was? Or any information you have?
