Toki walks fine now...her left leg (the one operated on) is smaller than the right (if you feel them, you can tell) but other than that she walks normally and has no pain in her hip. I know it can feel overwhelming with a diagnosis like LCP but the FHO is a very successful procedure with an excellent outlook. A lot of us have been through LCP, including the surgery and recovery period and would be more than happy to share our experiences to help you out along the way...keep us posted. |
thanks so much everyone! yes, it is overwhelming because I know nothing about this disease and I'm in an entirely different country and don't know anything here lol. I will keep everyone posted about surgery details, hopefully that will be the next step when we go see the vet thurday.
