Default Yellow foam

Yes this seems to be fairly common in dogs who tend to have an acidy stomach and haven't eaten for some time. I had this problem and found that giving meals at more frequent intervals and a snack before bed helps. If he does not eat when you are gone is it possible he does not like that food, and that some other kibble or even canned could be fed if he is alone? If he continues to throw up foam he should see a vet for a check and possibly be given an antacid such as Pepsid.
I found that my dog would also behave normally afterwards and usually eat like nothing happened!
