Yes....it is used extensively in kennels, grooming shops, pounds, rescues, anyplace where the is a concentration of dogs...it was also the solution that was at all ports of entry into the US when Mad Cow disease broke out overseas....when people arrived from specific places in Europe and Asia, they had to walk thru shallow trays of the solution. I use Virkon all over my house and yard and around my kennel areas and crates.....google it and read up on it....completely safe for animals, does not require rinsing...you spray all surfaces and allow them to air dry. I mix it up and put it in a sprayer and spray all surfaces, inside and out.
