I am not a breeder, but there is a lot of good info about breeding on this forum if you do a search. There are a lot of really wonderful breeders here. I have learned that you don't want to breed any female until at least her second heat cycle and then you alwsays skip one or two cycles after she has litter before you breed her again. You also need to make sure she is healthy and free of genetic defects which she might be able to pass on to her offspring before making the decsion to breed. Most do not agree with breeding a female who weighs less than 5 lbs. I thnk it would be best to find yourself a "mentor", a local breeder willing to teach you and help you with your first experience if you decide to go ahead and breed your female.
