 New baby
First, congratulations on your new baby. Welcome to the picky Yorkie club! You have done everything to try and make him eat and have him checked out by the vet. You are a great momma, and he will be fine. He is young and new to you and your home and that will be stressful for him. I have found that it is quite common to have eating issues at first and that one has to go to great lengths to get them to eat. You will see on threads here how many of us with older dogs have eating problems with picky or sensitive dogs. You are not alone!
To get his strength up the Gerbers baby chicken and gravy is bland and nutritious, and perhaps he will eat good quality kibble mixed with it soon? If he is eating the a/d wet food that is a good start. As for a good food, there are so many varieties to choose from. The rule is to keep away from bad foods like Beneful and other supermarket foods. On the Food and Diet section here you will find high quality food suggestions that work for members.
