I would follow up with them a little more--check to see if their puppies are AKC registered, and don't be afraid to ask them about the conditions you saw when you visited them (i. e. the puppies in pens with their own waste). Maybe they have a logical explanation. Also, the owner says that you can call her 24 hours a day with questions about puppy emergencies (such as hypoglycemia), so it sounds like they do care about the health of their puppies after they are sold. My main concern is that the parents (particularly the mother) are off-site. I would ask them why. |
Sorry, it is NOT reputable. 1st of all, a reputable breeder does NOT breed mixes. 2ndly, a reputable breeder ALWAYS has the parents on site & will show the new parents w/out hesitation, the parents of the pups. 3rdly, tinyyorkiekisses ONLY provides 1 year health guarantee, a reputable breeder gives a LIFETIME guarantee. 4th, some of the Yorkie puppies on tinyyorkiekisses do NOT look like Yorkie puppies, they're NOT breeding to improve the breed, whereas a reputable breeder does.
OP, I hope some YT members will give you referrals of reputable breeders they know in that area. Best of luck to you in finding your reputable breeder. Yorkiemom1 is a well respected seasoned breeder & I would listen to her.
