My Elvis somehow contracted giardia. I have 4 yorkies in the house and when I found small areas of diarrhea I didn't know who was the culprit until.Elvis started throwing up. I took him to the vet that evening. Thankfully he doesn't close until 7, although we were there until 9. We're treating all the dogs. I don't let them out by themselves and even then they use a different yard than my fosters. I run their bowls through the dishwasher on sanitize every day. Most of my floors are tile do I can clean those with bleach but what about my 8x10 area rugs. I cleaned the areas with a carpet cleaner but obviously use bleach. Is straight lysol too much for my babies? Would it even work? Elvis is doing ok now, no vomiting and eating rice and boiled chicken but not doing much except sleeping. I just don't want to make him worse. He's just under 3 lbs so doesn't have any reserves. |
