I've never had any reservations about feeding pork to dogs and I'm not sure why others do (unless their dog has a sensitivity). Obviously something like bacon or ham which are both fatty, salty, and heavily spiced are a no-no. But I don't understand why pork itself is bad as an ingredient and I don't view it as such...just another protein source. The overall guaranteed analysis for the Pork and Peas kibble is pretty much the same as the other grain-free formulas. And honestly there's probably not even very much pork in this formula anyway...I get the feeling the peas are major contributors to the protein content of this food. I guess it's just what you feel comfortable feeding but I haven't come across any research as to why you shouldn't feed pork to your dogs...maybe others have?
