When she went for her Rabies shot, that was bad. First the gal put the needle all the way thru the skin she held up and the serum went on the table. She filled another vile up and when she stuck it in her, the serum came out of the top of the vile. I was not waiting for another try, I took my baby, went to the front desk and told them I would never be back, and I changed Vets. |
Awww! That was a horrible ordeal! I'm glad you found another vet. No unnecessary pokes please!! I understand from my vet that the Rabies shot is more painful because the medicine stings going in. Princess Sophie really yelped but the treats she got took her mind off of it right away! They are such troopers!!!
To the OP: I am having Princess Sophie chipped when she gets spayed at 6 months so we are keeping a really close eye on her now and probably will forever! LOL Good luck. I'm sure your baby will be fine and you are doing the best thing for her!!
