I love the Up Country collars (5/8") ... not bulky at all (I'm very picky about the bulkiness of the buckle, more so than the width of the collar).

But most of the time, he wears his 3/4" collar tapered to 1/2 at the buckle. That's why I love leather collars because they can be tapered but you can still get width for the design w/o the bulky buckle. Attachment 386623
Sorry I can't be of more assistance with making collars. I just have a problem buying them  | On her little neck 1/2" just seem to be to thick but I know I am picky lol
