 Monty turns 1
Well Monty had his first birthday on Saturday. We are in Canada and it was the Victoria Day long weekend so of course we had to celebrate. We had a backyard party (in Monty's name). A couple of his dog friends came and a whack of his people friends came. We made a cake for him out of peanut butter, honey and grated carrot (recipe found online) and I decorated it with dog biscuits. It was an awesome time and even those that are not dog people kept up the spirit of the day!! It was actually just a reason to get together for a backyard party but it really turned out to be awesome fun for both dogs and people.
I hope others here do some fun things to include their yorkies in their people world!!
I will try to post some pics...so cute when he saw the cake and then even cuter when he polished it off (of course sharing it with his favorite cousin, golden doodle, Riley and his s**tzu friend, Tux). |
