My Oscar is 1 yr 8 months..The day I brought him home at 11 weeks I started with the Litterbox.. He was very stubborn and it took forever but he finally got it. A couple weeks ago I decided to try Outside Potty Training for him . I took away the litterbox and pads . I took him outside every 30 minutes. Wow , within a matter of days he was outside potty trained.
Of course all dogs are different but with My Oscar I think training to Potty outside was much easier than box/pad training..
I wish I had done it from the start..
Whatever method you choose , it really just takes loads of time and patience..
