Our first vet gave Max all of his vaccinations including rabies in one day when he was 13 weeks old. He was fine, but I would never do it again. For puppies, you can wait until 5 -6 months for rabies. We also separate all vaccinations now by 3 - 4 weeks. |
Ty! Yes I am soo glad I didn't do both vaccines today! Now that this happened, I would never advise anyone to do more then one at a time. I've read so much & I knew that the average age for rabies was 16 weeks. Thank god I said something to him which made him think and say let's see how she does w/this one first. Hmmm she's only 4 lbs. He knew I was very concerned w/giving her two at once. I will always separate my vaccines after this, ESP w/a small puppy like Bella. More then one is just too many for some pups.
