I think weight is an issue only for those who aren't well educated or show breeders who must meet the standard. Other than the previous mentioned yorkies make great pets regardless of their weight. As for weight being the biggest topic I don't feel that way and if so i really haven't noticed it and I've been on here for awhile now.
