I dont know about anywhere else,but here,for that price,you get a show dog.Yorkies are quite expensive,but shouldent be over $1000 (in my opinion)..anything over that is just bizzare! We must keep in mind that these dogs arent cheap to maintain (grooming,vet bills,clothes (lol) etc etc) so it wont stop at $2000
If you only want pet quality,then thats what you should pay for
Having said that,I know that depending on where you are,a yorkie can cost more or less and I have no idea what the prices are in the us because Im in europe so Im not the best person to give advice on this subject
All I know is that $2000 is two months wages here,and that seems just waaaaay to much
