Turbo almost died when he was puppy bc the flea collar got stuck in his mouth! He was trying to get it off & it got stuck, he had convultions/ seizures & luckily got to the emergency care in time. The lady that was taking care of them @ the time didn't want to use topicals...& the flea collar almost killed him.
We used frontline plus for years & it worked very well for us. Only had to use once every 3 months for fleas in the hot months & I never saw any ticks on them. I recently switched to k9 advantix II bc Turbo was getting brown specks along his back where frotline was applied, so I thought it was irritating his skin...well, advantix was worse! They all acted like there were ants crawling along their back. I'm not sure what to do, next monthly applcation is coming up, I think I'll only give them half a dose & see how it goes. |
