I guess the point is do what works best for your little guy, talk to your vet and research here. As to food, most vets are not "nutritionest" and they often sell food, that does not mean the food they sell is the best. IMO look at pest best for "human" grade food.. no corn.

I don't really like free feeding but I thought I would try it for the first few days after that 4 meals a day till he is 12 weeks then ill do 3 meals a day.
