It gets pretty hot here in LA too, not as hot as Arizona, but in the summer time, even when we go out @ 7:30 pm, the ground is still very warm, hot to the touch. I always touch the ground to test it 1st & wait til it cools down, but they don't understand why & keeps barking @ me loll.
Yah, but I wouldn't put the booties on him unless I have to. And yes it would be a short period of time. Booties are really the only thing I could do, cause Kudos wants to go out a lot and I cant have him locked up all day waiting for the ground to be cool. So I will feel the ground and if it isn't that hot I wont put the booties on him, if it s hot I will use the booties.
