Default Flying with my Yorkie

So, I have flown multiple times with Layla (my Yorkie) and she is quite the handful! Each time I have flown with her she has either cried, chewed through the bag, or somehow escaped. I just recently bought a bigger bag for her so hopefully our flight on Friday, she will be more comfortable.

For all of you that travel with your Yorkie, do you have any recommendations? I've read that you shouldn't drug your dog (but I would love to lol) while traveling just because you don't' know how your dog with react with higher altitudes. The vet said to give her benadryl, however she never recommended a dosage. I don't know how long before the flight i should give it to her. The flights are usually 2 hours long.

PLEASE HELP!!!

Layla is going to be 2 in July, 5.0lbs, and a diva!
