Leaving a pup in a crate for hours at a time is cruel. A pup cannot hold it's urine for that length of time so you are creating a bad situation if you "stick it in a crate and leave it." A playpen or a small room that has been puppy proofed is a much better alternative.
If you really need this job then of course you should take it. It would be nice if you had someone who could come in and spend time with the baby while you are working. If you have issues with the pup like it not eating or some health problem you are going to be having a hard time of it. I hope things work out for you. |
Miley will be 13 weeks when I pick her up and shes not being crated...i'm not sure where you got that information from. I don't believe in using a crate for extended hours. In fact, she probably will rarely ever use her crate.
