Beneful is said to have cause death and cancer in some dogs so I would not feed that. Not to mention Purina was the owners of the waggin train chicken jerky that kill many dogs for many years until they finally pulled it. I would leave his dry food out all day so he can eat on it whenever he is hungry. If he doesn't seem to want to eat it soak it in some hot water to let it soften then drain it and see if he will eat it then. If you give him the nutrical you need to back it up with a protein like his dog food or he could just crash. I would only give nutrical if he was showing symptoms on hypoglycemia. How old is he? Don't forget to get him to the vet within the next 3 days to get a check up (this should always be done even if you are getting a pup from the best breeder ever).
