Someone recently posted about using baby onsies to keep dogs from licking surgical incisions. I don't know why that wouldn't work to keep her buddy from licking her all over. I remember the poster saying that they cut out a hole for the tail. I guess you would have to cut out an area for peepee breaks, too, but they are usually 3 for $10 or cheaper on sale, and wash up well. On a personal experience note, I know my Huey has long hair and when I dress him, he becomes very easily tangled.
