Huey has never had his anal glands expressed, nor ever exhibited a problem. Yesterday, he butt-dragged to the end of the carpet, rinse and repeat 2 more times. I was gonna take him to the vet this am, despite no fish smell (yes I smelled.my dog's butt) but he made a poopoo this am that my dh would be proud of, and hasn't butt dragged since, so I guess the problem is fixed.
