Hi the needle looks really scary and on the large size too, bigger than any human needle used, but in saying all this... mine did not even flinch Mickey the youngest was far more interested in the treats on the table, so would advise some tasty treats you know he likes and he will be fine I'm sure. It's more scary for us to watch x
