I do keep the hair on the end of her little bug trimmed short when I cut her nails and groom her. It's all part of our routine. The girl will lay spread eagle on the couch for a bug and belly trim, it's so darn funny. I do keep it cut so the urine doesn't run down the hair and on down the side of her leg. Hope this helps.
