 Barney is getting a sister
OK. I finally talked DH into getting a friend for Barney. I had looked at several different ads for a female puppy. After reading the information posted on this site and researching breeders, we decided to look for a rescue pet. I found Lana and have been talking with her foster mom. We are meeting next week. It looks like Barney will be getting an older sister and I am so excited. I am a little nervous because she has been used as a breeder dog (she's only 4 pounds and lucky she lived through having puppies). The lady that I talked to from the shelter said she felt that she has probably been in a cage for most of her 5 to 6 years. I am sure I will be asking for lots of advice. Isn't she beautiful? |
