I'm "one of those ppl"... For the most part, it's only when we're on our front yard. It's a corner house so we don't really have a backyard. On weekends, when the weather is nice, I take them out and play fetch. This is the only time I let him "drag the leash".
Magnus is mostly good about coming back when I call for him but there are times when he's not. If I keep the leash on him, I'm able to catch him right away. Also, I wash the leashes once/twice a month. |
